RollerCademy - Class : Adaptive & Inclusive Skate Skills
About this class:
A supportive RollerCademy class for skaters with disabilities, neurodivergent students, sensory needs, mobility differences, and other access needs. Students build confidence, movement skills, safety awareness, balance, coordination, and joy on wheels with modified instruction as needed.
Who it is for:
Skill level: Beginner / Adaptive / All Levels with coach approval. Adaptive / Supportive Skills
Age group: Adults 18+ only.
Prerequisite:
No skating experience required. Student, guardian, caregiver, or aide may be asked to share access needs, mobility considerations, sensory considerations, medical/safety notes, and support-person details before class.
Class length:
70-90 min
Protective gear required or as approved for the student's adaptive plan (Helmet, Knee Pads, Elbow Pads & Wrist Guards). Adaptive equipment, mobility devices, support-person participation, sensory needs, and venue accessibility should be confirmed before class.
Private coaching option:
Yes - private adaptive coaching is available and strongly recommended for one-on-one support, wheelchair-specific adaptation, sensory-sensitive instruction, caregiver-supported learning, or a customized progression plan. Standard private option: 60-min $195, 90-min $245, 60-min semi-private $220 total.
Capacity:
10 students with one lead coach. Assistant support may unlock at 10+ paid bookings or by admin override. Assistant adds 6 spots. Max with assistant: 16.
