The next step for skaters who've completed the Beginner class and are ready to level up.

Builds on the foundations from the Beginner class with more confident transition work, deeper line-building, and intentional use of park features.
You must be assessed and have successfully completed the Beginner Skatepark Fundamentals class before joining.
What you'll work on
- Stronger pumping & flow
- Confident drop-ins on appropriate features
- Linking features into simple lines
- Carving transition with control
- Reading the park & choosing safe lines
- Building consistency under coach guidance
Skill requirements
- Completed Beginner Skatepark Fundamentals
- Comfortable rolling on transition
- Able to pump and carve with control
- Confident stopping in a park environment
How to prepare
- Arrive early to gear up and sign in
- Wear comfortable athletic clothing
- Bring water
- Full safety gear (Required)
All skaters are required to wear full protective gear for this class. Required protective gear includes:
Helmet
Elbow pads
Knee pads
Wrist guards
Padded shorts are strongly recommended.
Skaters must also bring their own skates. No skater will be allowed to participate without the required protective gear and their own skates.
We will have complimentary protective gear at class to borrow if you need an item.
Safety comes first.
If you arrive without the required gear or without your own skates, you will not be able to participate in class.
